Atlanta Fair is back for a fall run in ! The fair will open in late September and run for 5 weeks in downtown Atlanta. Welcome back to the fair! The Atlanta Fair returns to Turner Field for a fall run. The Atlanta Fair is in town a full five weeks! It is scheduled to run from Friday, September 30th through Sunday, November 6th, In previous years, there has been nightly entertainment, like concerts, dance troupes, and a Houdini-style escape artist.

They must be used on the day they are purchased. I love a fair. If I could attend a fair though, my favorite memory would definitely involve food. I just wanna eat a bunch of fair food and catch a glimpse at the sunset from the ferris wheel. Between that and the cotton candy and fried Oreos, she was in heaven. I loved seeing her eyes light up each time we rose high above the ground. Since then she has been obsessed with wanting to be able to actually fly because she loved seeing everything small on the ground below.

My favorite memory is spending time with my family out in a new part of town- riding rides, winning toys, and eating corn dogs!!! As a kid growing up, going to the fair was a day long, annual event for me and my family. My mom would let us eat whatever we wanted and ride every ride if we were tall enough!

I guess you could say I first learned how to drive behind the wheel of a bumper car… lol. There is absolutely nothing like the hustle and bustle of fairgoers, or the thrill and excitement a kid gets from rides that seemed larger than life! My work schedule and living out of state has not afforded my son the same experiences at the fair that I had.

His show is filled with music, audience participation, hilarious comedy, and unbelievable magic! Watch as someone defies gravity by floating in mid-air and borrowed objects appear in the most impossible places! Appearing September Sandscapes: This is performance art the whole family will enjoy. You will want to bring the whole family back again and again as the Sandscapes sculptors transform 50 tons of sand into a specially-themed work of art throughout the run of the fair.

Ruth has been carving sculptures with a chainsaw for more than 20 years. Pig racing gets even better when celebrities like Britney Spareribs and Lindsay Slowham are vying for the coveted Oreo prize. These porkers will race and swim straight to the top of your most fun list! Robocars: One of the most unique and entertaining acts you will see.

This real life Transformer will be cruising, dancing, and transforming daily. North Georgia Animals Petting Barn — at the south entrance of the fairgrounds provides a fun and educational experience for children and adults alike. Some of the animals that will be on hand include chickens, goats, cows, rabbits, llamas and much more! Pony rides too! It includes 20 to 25 rare and exotic animals from around the world. See a wallaby, a zebra, a lemur and have a chance to ride a camel.

Treeman : The phenomenon known as the Walking TreeMan! Barely distinguishable from the real trees, Walking TreeMan moves slowly and deliberately down the street, enchanting all that meet him. At over 12 feet tall, TreeMan can be seen from yards away! He will be performing amazing lasso tricks to entertain fair goers of all ages!

Love the caramel apples, the funnel cake. Hope to be able to take my girls soon,. Love the caramel apples and the balloon pop. I remember trying to talk my parents into buying alot of tickets by telling them that it was a better deal…lol. I miss going and having all types of fun at the fair while eating some great fair food. If I do win the tickets I will take some of my college friends who never been to the Atlanta fair and show them a good time.

I love the games and cotton candy and funnel cakes I love the game that pushes the money out when you put money in it and the basketball game and I love that there is rides for kids under 5. There is so much going on and so much to do and without this subscription, you will most definitely miss out! I love it! I moved to Atlanta as an adult but going to the fair was a must-do in those early years.

So much fun with my best friend! We truly enjoy making fun memories on this journey called LIFE. My husband and I are new ish to Atlanta and have been doing so many cool things that we have learned about from this newsletter- and looking forward to checking out the fair!
